The Atocha-Renfe interchange station is an essential node of the transport network of the Madrid Region, as well as of the whole country, being a transport hub for the metro network, urban bus and interurban bus, taxis, suburban railways of Renfe, Regionals or long-distance and high-speed railways lines. The architecture of the Atocha Station stands out by its 19th-century façade and the atrium, which has become a tropical greenhouse garden.
