You can request it as follows:
- Through the Internet, in which case you will receive the card at the address indicated on the application approximately 7 to 15 working days (tarjetatransportepublico.crtm.es)
- In person, scheduling an appointment calling at 012 or at tarjetatransportepublico.crtm.es/CRTM-ABONOS/cita.aspx, in the management offices of the Public Transport Card. On the appointment date, you must go to the appropriate office with the documentation requested (except for the photo, which will be taken in the office). You will receive the card at the time.
Cards requested by new users shall cost EUR 4.00.
Processing can be done:
- In person, by requesting an appointment by calling 012 or at tarjetatransportepublico.crtm.es/CRTM-ABONOS/cita.aspx, at the Public Transport Card Management Offices. On the day of the appointment, the holder to whom the card is to be issued must go to the corresponding office with their identity document (ID, passport or residence permit) and the public transport card that must be renewed. The card will be given to you at the moment.
The issuance of a new card due to the expiration of the previous card will cost 4 euros.
It is important to provide contact details (email and mobile phone) in the application form so that we can report any incident in the management of the new card or its location in case of loss.
