Instructions for using the Transport Card App

Check that you have a data connection and activate the NFC connection on your mobile   Icono datos    Icono wifi    Icono NFC

Your mobile must have access to the internet. The NFC connection must also be activated, which is the technology that allows data transmission (in this case, the transport tickets that you buy and load on the card) at a very short distance. You can check it in the "Settings" section of your phone.

Press the App icon on your mobile. If you haven't downloaded it yet, you can do it from here: app-tarjeta-transporte

Bank card registration 

To make a charge, you must first register your bank card. When you finish the charge process, you can remove the bank card from the app.

  • Step 1. 
    Press the "Tarjeta bancaria" option in the menu at the top left of the screen to register a Visa or Mastercard.

  • Step 2.
    Fill in the card details and click on “Pay” (to verify the card, a free charge of €0.00 will be made).

    Follow the steps your bank indicates to complete the operation.

Balance reading and Loading of transport tickets

Check the balance and/or load your transport ticket.

  • Step 5.
    Select "Saldo y recarga" by clicking on the menu at the top left of the screen.

    Bring the transport card close to the back of the mobile.

  • Step 7.
    The tickets you already have in your card will appear. Separate the transport card from the back of the mobile.

  • Step 8.
    Select the ticket you want to load. It can be a ticket that you already have loaded or you can select one by clicking "Show tickets to recharge".

    Press "Select to pay". Confirm that the ticket you have selected is the
    one you want to buy. Press "Confirm and recharge".

  • Step 10.
    After making the payment, bring the transport card to the back of the mobile to load it.

  • Step 11.
    When “Recharge completed successfully” appears, press "Accept" and separate the transport card from the mobile.

FAQs

I cannot read the balance of may Transport Card

Make sure you are connected to the internet and have NFC enabled. Check the 'Settings' section on your mobile.

Whenever the app asks you to approach the transport card, you must do it on the back of the mobile. If you can't read it, move the card along the back surface of the mobile, slightly separating the card each time you move it.

Remember that you must separate the transport card once the reading is done.

How is the ticket loaded in the Transport Card?

The transport card only needs to be approached twice to the back of the mobile. One to read the balance and another to load the ticket you purchase.

To be able to load the card, you must remove it after reading the balance, and bring it close again after paying (the app notifies you). In this way, the app detects the transport card and loads the ticket you just bought.

How to know if the upload was successful?

To find out if the upload was successful, check it by checking the balance of the transport card. You can also access the 'Facturas' section of the main menu, where the invoice corresponding to the purchase made will appear. You can download it on your mobile.

If you do not have the ticket loaded, it means that there was a mistake and the amount paid will be refunded.

I have been charged for the ticket and it has not been loaded up the Transport Card

The system automatically returns the money to you when the load is unsuccessful.

If it is not returned to your bank account within 72 hours, contact us through the incident form, indicating the following:

  • The first 3 digits and the last 4 of the bank card
  • The serial number of the transport card

  • Day and time of the operation
  • Purchased ticket
  • Amount

Remember:

I cannot register my bank card in the App

First, check that you are connected to the internet and have NFC activated. Check the 'Settings' section on your mobile.

In order to complete the registration process, you must receive an SMS with a code.

If after following all the steps correctly, your bank card is not accepted, contact us through the incident form, indicating the following information:

· The first 6 digits of the bank card

What do I do if I make a mistake when loading the ticket?

If you make a mistake when loading a ticket, go to any CRTM management office (except EMT or Parla).

The conditions that must be met are:

  • 10-trips tickets: You must solve it within 24 hours from the load and not have used it.
  • 30-day and tourist tickets: You must resolve it within 24 hours of loading, you may have used it during those 24 hours, except for the 1-day tourist pass, which cannot have been used.

No prior appointment is necessary for this procedure.

Is it necessary to keep the bank card registered?

You can register and delete the bank card every time you buy.

Don't forget that to make a charge you have to register your card first and that it is not essential that you keep it registered once it has been made.
