Incidences management

In case of loss or theft, the user must report it via email at tarjetatransportepublico@crtm.es, or go to any of the following Management Offices of the Public Transport Card with balance recovery function. Regardless the report is made via email or in person, the user must attach a responsible statement (get it form here).

To replace the lost or stolen card the user may also request online a new one, at www.tarjetatransportepublico.es.

The Consorcio Regional de Transportes de Madrid will block the use of the lost or stolen card, at request of the interested party and after checking the status of the tickets loaded in the card. Within a maximum period of five days, a new card will be issued with the contained tickets on the missing card.

If the user renounces to recuperate of the content of the lost or stolen card, he can go to any of the management offices of the Public Transport Card to request in the act the issue of a new card

  The issuance of the new card due to loss or theft will cost EUR 6.00.
